Athletic skiers will particularly enjoy the 4 kilometers long base area descent down to „Sexten“ and „Vierschach“ at the resort „Helm“. The most demanding route leads via the category black run „Raut“ (Nr. 14, Check out trail map!) which should cause advanced riders no problems. The wide slopes round the mountain station of the gondola „Vierschach-Helm“ offer the the ideal terrain for carving. The rugged mountains offer a gorgeous sight and will let every skier stop for a moment to enjoy the great panorama of the „Hochpustertal“. The „Dolomites“ in the region around the famous „Drei Zinnen“ is among the most beautiful the Alps have to offer. Thanks to the numerous nice runs and the breathtaking panorama the skiing area „Helm“ almost reaches the highest possible ranking in the category „Advanced“. Only thing missing are a few more kilometers of slope.
