Beginners will have a hard time at the resort „Rotwand“. With only two descents in the easiest category practice terrain for beginners is limited. The only runs that can be taken by beginners without thought are the „Rotwandwiesen“ run (Nr. 14) and the „Moos“ run (Nr. 6). The rest of the resort will probably overchallenge beginners. The base area descent also leads via very demanding slopes so that beginners should rather take the gondola back down hill.Less experienced riders are better off at the neighboring resort „Haunold“ which can be reached by a free ski shuttle. There you are offered 4 category blue runs. This makes things much easier in greenhorns.
