Two great advantages of this skiing region are the snow guarantee and the high number of sunny days. The greatest plus, however, of the resort „Rotwand“ is its great offerings to families. Where else can you go on a reindeer sleigh ride with gigantic snow men as backdrop. Athletic riders will also enjoy themselves: demanding base area descents, the area around the „Kreuzberg“ lifts and a permanent chronometer-race run. Only beginners who are over the „Magic carpet age“ could be a little overchallenged by what they meet at the resort in term of slopes. You also get the typical cozy, South Tyrolean Après Ski here. All in all: The seemingly small skiing resort turns out as a big hit for families.
