Those among snowboarders who enjoy riding on-piste have several nice options at the resort „Rotwand“: the demanding base area descent „Rotwand“ (Nr. 3), the category black runs „Holzriese I/II“ etc. The wide category red run (Nr.5) is ideal for doing some carving. Off-piste, however, the resort has little to offer as the timberline goes far up at the resort. Those who stand on a snowboard fort he first time should try out the easist category run „Rotwandwiesen“ (Nr. 4). Unfortunately the resort has only few areas to offer where boarders could do their first steps on category blue terrain. Freestylers search for a fun park will be in vain. The only skiing area in the „Hochpustertal“ that has a fun park to offer is „Haunold“. This however can be reached with the free ski shuttle.
