„Silvretta Montafon” The „Biggest Ski Resort“ of Vorarlberg!!
With its 155 kilometers of slope the skiing resort “Silvretta Monaton” (1000 – 2300 meters) is the biggest one in the “Montafon”. 40 up-to-date ski lifts and gondolas guarantee a smooth transport uphill. The first ski lift facilities you’ll get to see once you’ve reached the resort is either the “Valisera” gondola (A1 & A2), the 2-passenger chair lift (B1 & B2) at “St. Gallenkirch” (900 meters) or the “Versettla” gondola (C1 & C2) at “Gaschurn”. The easiest way to reach “Gallenkirch” and “Gaschurn” is via the “Inntalautobahn” (A12). Coming from “Innsbruck” you pass through the fee-required “Arlberg” tunnel and then take the exit “Schruns/Bludenz/Silvretta Hochstraße”. Coming from “Bregenz” you take the “A14/E60” and take the same exit. From there you take the “B188”. After 15 kilometers you will have reached your destination. At the base areas of all ski lift facilities there are more than enough parking lots. To anticipate it right away - “Silvretta Monatfon” is definitely one of the top winter sports destinations in the Alps. This is particularly so for advanced and expert skiers as well as snowboarders.
