The most challenging category black runs at „Ski Center Latemar“ are located at the 2500 m high „Zanggen“ (highest point of the resort) and the slopes south of „Pampeago“. Since 1983 the „Oberholz“ run alongside the „Obereggen-Oberholz“ lift (Nr. 20 trail map) serves for Eurocup races. At the „Campanil“ lift Nr. 42 (Check out trail map) you’ll find an all-year-around cronometer run.Unfortunately the timber line is relatively high in South Tyrol so that freeriding is limited. At the „Passo Feudo“ above „Predazzo“ you’ll find several nice powder runs. Although the slopes between „Obereggen“ and „Predazzo“ are very versatile, real pros will be looking for more. With the „Val di Fiemme Ski Pass – Obereggen“ you can for example ride the super long category black run at the resort „Alpe Cermis“ above „Cavalese“. With the „Dolomiti Super-Ski-Pass“ the infatigable snow freak can check out 1200 kilometers of groomed slopes.
