Ski Center Latemar - ski fun in South Tyrol and the Trentino

The ski resort „Ski Center Latemar“ is located cross-boardering between „Obereggen“ (South Tyrol) and „Predazzo“ (Trentino). Whereas in „Oberbreggen“ people predominantly speak German, at „Predazzo“ at the „Val di Fiemme“ you already get the Italian flair. Located in the Dolomite Massif, in this region consisting of the „Latemar“ mountain group (2846m), the „Sella“ mountain group (3152m) and the „Marmolada“ mountain group (3342m) you can easily reach the „Val di Fiemme“ via the Brennerautobahn. After having left the autobahn exit „Bozen“ you take the „SS12“ to „Obereggen“ (1550m). Should you want to enter the resort in „Predazzo“ exit the autobahn at „Neuermarkt“ and drive to „Predazzo“ via „Calvese“. Although the resort „Ski Center Latemar“ with its 43 kilometers of groomd terrain cannot be counted among the largest ski resorts in South Tyrol we were positively impressed by the diversity of the terrain during our test.
