The „Ski Center Latemar“ skiing resort is not exactly the biggest resort in South Tyrol. Still the runs from the 2846 meters high „Latemar“ mountain group turned out as very versatile and very suitable for sportive riders during our test visit. To check out the whole resort even experienced riders will need their time. Should 43 kilometers of slope not be enough for you, we recommend the „Obereggen Ski Pass“ which offers you access to 118 kilometers of groomed slopes. The ski lift facilities at the „Ski Center Latemar“ resort also caught our eye. Out of 18 ski lifts 14 are very comfortable chair lifts. Throughout the whole resort you’ll only find 2 t-bar lifts, which can be found at the pratice area in „Obereggen“. Another plus of the resort around „Obereggen“/ „Predazzo“ is its wonderful location. In the East you get a view of the 3000 meter mountains oft he „Dolomites“, in the West the deep valley around „Bozen“ and behind that the almost 4000 meter peaks of the „Ortler“ mountain group.
