Due to its altitude (1550m - 2500m) and the area-wide artificial snowmaking facilities „Oberreggen“ is absolutely snow safe from the end of November to the middle of April. Although the resort, with its 43 kilometers of skiable terrain, rather belongs to the small ones in the Alps it met our criteria in all test catgeories. The greatest plus of the resort „Ski Center Latemar“ are the numerous comfortable ski lifts which make the area well accessible and the very versatile slopes offering a wide range of different difficulty degrees. Thanks to the well-groomed snow park and half pipe the resort gets the best rating possible(5 Stars) in the category „Snowboarder“. In none of the tested categories we could find any serious disadvantages, so that we can warmly recommend the resort to riders from all categories. The gorgeous „Dolomiti mountains“ complete the picture and make every skiing vacation there an unforgettable experience.
