Unbeatable array of slopes, but only a few difficult trails.

Excellent skiers who long for a large ski resort in the Austrian Alps will not find many places comparable to the “Wilder Kaiser” ski-world. But once one takes a closer look at the resort one will soon notice that there are only 10 very difficult descents. And none of the descents are renowned as are for example the “Streif” in Kitzbühel or the “Gamsleiten” in Obertauern. The nicest slopes are the black ones descending from the “Hohe Salve” and the red ones in Westendorf. However the ski resort does deserve 4 stars in the advanced skiers’ category as they offer wonderful mogul slopes, permanent racing circuits a speed measure circuit and modern lift faciliies. All these facts definitely make the Wilder Kaiser worth visiting for excellent skiers. We advise even the best skiers to plan in about 2 days in order to explore the entire ski-world.
