Snowbird offers an abundance of possibilities to take a lunch break. The “Mid Gad” is a nice mountain restaurant where hungry skiers can enjoy the extraordinary view while waiting for their tasty meals. Right next door you can check out the newest skiing utensils in the “Chrispy Sports Demo Center”. In the valley we recommend the “Birdfeeder” at the base of the “Aerial Tram” where excellent burgers and sandwiches are offered. We were quite surprised to find live dinner (or rather lunch ) music from Friday to Sunday. On sunny days you can stay until after sundown and let the evening wind down comfortably. Real Après Ski atmosphere like we know it from Europe and especially from Austria however does not arise. Those wanting to party properly will have to go to Salt Lake City which is a 40 minute car ride away from Snowbird.
