Snowbird - snow guarantee in Utah
Snowbird is only 29 miles away from Salt Lake City Airport (a 40 minute car ride). From the airport the voyage to the resort is most recommendable via Interstate 80. Continue on Interstate 215 and leave the highway at exit 6 (6200 South). Follow the 6200 East and pay attention to the signposts Cottonwood Canyon and Snowbird. We recommend the second parking lot as the highest point in the resort (Hidden Peak) is accessible from the gondola starting there. For those who left their car in the remoter corners of the parking lot there is a free shuttle bus that frequently takes the vitors back and forth. Snowbird boasts 1 gondola and 10 chair lifts. Due to its excellent location Snowbird is among the snow surest ski resorts to be found in North America. Ski fun is guaranteed until late into springtime. A total of 11 km² of skiable terrain is at the winter enthusiasts’ disposal
