Four huts and a party igloo made out of glass. That's what's waiting for you at the upper terminal of the Speikboden gondola. When the sun is shining, the deck chairs tempt skiers to take a break in the South Tyroler sun and just enjoy the view. The music in the background coming from the glass igloo helps them forget their worries. The prices here at the upper terminal of the gondola are, as they are in most ski resorts in the alps, pretty high. Yet this type of ambience, which can only be found in South Tyrol, somehow makes it more than worth it. We also shouldn't fail to mention the fact that you can keep skiing even after lift-close and hang out on the slopes until the evening hours. Just keep your eye out for the on-duty slope grooming vehicles!
