The trails at Speikboden are extremely wide – which is a huge benefit for snowboarders. With three blue, three red and two black trails, Speikboden is also very well-balanced, providing boarders of all ability levels with a nice selection. The new 400 meter long snow park also gives more advanced snowboarders a chance to practice stunts – jumping over kickers and taking advantage of a number of grinding possibilities. To ensure that beginners and intermediates don't get in each other's way, separate runs have been created. The only thing that bothered us in this category was the cat track at the beginning of the trail which forced a lot of boarders to unstrap. But in light of the great trail selection and Speikboden's very modern lifts (only one of which is a tow), we'd say that's a pretty minor detail.
