Very skilled skiers have one main reason to visit St.Moritz Corvatsch. The altitude of the ski resort and therefore snow is guaranteed in the pre- and after- season. Of course the permanent training race circuits in Furtschellas (at the Grialetsch-Lift [N]) and Corvatsch along the Mandra-tow-lift are a real treat too. For a small fee the time can be measured as well. Aside the groomed slopes are possibilities to test ones skills on the ungroomed slope (diverges from the Gorgi-trail (1)!!). The difficult trail (as per trail map) has been overestimated in our opinion and won’t show the experts their limits. Be careful with the Hahnensee trail as it ends in St. Moritz-Bad and the only way back to Surlej or Furtschellas is by ski bus.
