Families that want to avoid large crowded ski resorts should consider the Steinplatte for a fun winter holiday. There’s something to please every family member. And parents won’t have to worry about loosing their kids as the resort is clearly laid out. However the choice of lodges and restaurants is limited and the kids might have to wait awhile until mum and dad found a place to have lunch at. But advantageous is the fact that once the lift ticket has been obtained it won’t have to be used again on the mountain which saves parents and kids the constant struggle with the access control machines.
