„Stubai Glacier“ - The Kingdom of Snow.
The easiest way to reach the „Stubai Glacier“ resort is to take the Brenner autobahn (A13) and leave it at exit „Stubaital-Schönberg“. This route via Innsbruck (about 50 kilometers away) will cost you 2,50 € toll fee. Should you want to save the 2,50 € toll fee leave the Brenner autobahnt earlier. This however is a much more difficult route should you not be familiar with the region. In this case you should be really well informed about where to go or have a navigation sytem in your car. After you’ve left the autobahn exit „Stubaital“ 30 winding kilometers of road through the Stubai valley lie ahead of you. Once you’ve reached the parking-lot at the ski area „Stubai Glacier“ you can either walk the remaining 500 meters to the ski lift facilities or alternatively take the ski shuttle there. Spread throughout the ski resort you’ll find 5 gondola facilities, 7 chair lifts and 9 t-bar lifts, which’ll take you from 1750 meters up to 3200 meters.| Final grade: |
