To Snowboarders wanting to get their fill of air time we can only partly recommend the “Stubai Glacier”.A run with inflated curves is all there exists. When we tested the resort neither terrain-park nor half-pipe had been groomed. Please check out the reorts website www.stubaier-gletscher.com for current information on the terrain park situation. For snowboarding beginners the “Stubai Glacier” resort is more than recommendable, as there are many spacious easy (blue) runs there (particularly run 1 and 10). Furthermore most ski-lifts are either chair-lifts or gondolas. Snowborders who have a preference for off-piste riding will certainly get their fill of powder at the “Stubai Glacier” resort. With a sufficient depth of snow you’ll find many spine-tingling off-piste descents next to the groomed slopes (Please be aware of the current avalanche situation!)
