The very skilled skiers also get their moneys worth in the Sudelfeld. But the array of slopes will probably only please the experts for one day or a weekend. Sudelfeld caters to experts with four very difficult trails, but extraordinary descents (like the Gamsleiten 2 in Obertauern) are not to be found. Several ungroomed and mogul slopes are situated at the upper Sudelfeld, especially along the Vogelsang-Tow lift (10). From the Traithenkar two beautiful one groomed and one ungroomed slope lead to the base. Also worth mentioning are the descents to the Rosengasse and the two FIS – runs at the lower Sudelfeld. But skiers with high expectations will not like the many tow lifts (18 out of 21!!). We advise the lift operators to substitute some of the tow lifts with modern chair lifts.
