While considered "old fashioned" rope tows have several advantages. They access steep terrain easily, they move people uphill very quickly and operate in all weather conditions. Temple Basin is a massive natural terrain park with steep chutes, half pipes, couloirs within the ski area itself. There are always untracked runs available for our guests usually within 10 minutes of the accommodation lodges.
