The Canyons: Valuation

Only 10 % of all trails in „The Canyons“ is earmarked as gentle terrain. However “The Canyons” is still awarded excellent 4 stars in the beginner category. For good reasons! Many of the trails earmarked blue ( intermediate) like the “Chicane” or “Silver Spur” are indeed easy cruiser trails and also suitable terrain for novice skiers. Furthermore the fast “High Meadow Chair”, whose base also functions as the ski school meeting point, accesses a beautiful beginner area that leaves nothing to be desired. Novice skiers that dispose of skiing basics can venture into all slopes which are earmarked blue (apart from the steep “Sidewinder”!!). The many difficult (black) trails however should definitely be avoided!!!
