All lifts access beautiful black terrain! Explore the forests on your own account and venture into beautiful ungroomed terrain. The US are famous for tree-skiing and “The Canyons” luckily is no stranger in the tree-skiing department! However the mountain is slightly lower than most ski resorts in the USA as the resort is located between 2072m and 3045m. Therefore make sure snow-cover is sufficient before you venture into the ungroomed terrain! The most challenging off-piste descents are to be found in the “Murcock Bowl” which is made accessible by the “Super Condor Express” (and a short hike). A permanent racing track or training track however is no where to be found in “The Canyons”.
