With only one mountain restaurant at the base of the “Alta Chair”, the “Remarkables” don’t seem to be able to live up to their international competitors. Those that have experienced nightlife in the Austrian resorts will in fact be a bit disappointed in New Zealand. However there is nothing left to be desired where the ski resorts around Queenstown are concerned (“Coronet Peak” and “The Remarkables”). During day time the Café sees excellently to the well being of all winter athletes. And after lifts close hop into the car and drive the short distance to Queenstown and you will be rewarded with vibrant nightlife and lots of fun. Our testers especially enjoyed “Winnie’s” a trendy, cool place that can open its roof.
