The ski resort in the Snowy Mountain offers a nice blend of slopes of every skill level. First timers and beginners can enjoy their day at the separated beginners area at Friday Flat. After having gained some confidence on the slopes it`s no problem to transfer to the area at “The Cruiser” Chairlift. Skilled skiers are best off at Thredbo as intermediate terrain makes out about 67% of the entire terrain. Experts must definitely ski the Golf Course Bowl as well as the black runs which can be found almost all over the resort. Snowboarders can choose between 5 terrain parks of different skill levels. The tree runs are also not to be looked down upon. Families also get their moneys worth. Thredbo caters to families with many skiing school programs for children of every age. An abundance of skiing lodges and restaurant see to the well-being of every winter sports athlete. After lifts close, party people should go to Jindabyne and let the evening wind down there. All in all Thredbo is certainly one of the best ski resorts in Australia!
