Those undertaking a voyage to Tignes will be hopping mad if they forget to bring their fat skis too. Tignes features infinite terrain to leave first tracks on virgin slopes. But Tignes not only offers an abundance of outback possibilities (MIND danger of avalanch!!!) but features with "Le Spot" a distinguished free ski area, only for those who are truly crazy for powder. Those who prefer groomed to "wild" slopes will not be disappointed either. Tignes offers such an abundance of wonderful groomed terrain that it would seam ridiculous to single out one or two for recommendation in this test report. All slopes are truly great! For an additional charge it is possible to purchase the lift ticket for the "Espace Killy" which enables to access the terrain in Val d`Isère. There is most certainly nothing left to be desired! Excellent 5 stars for Tignes.
