Not only at the Gipfelrestaurant Chäserrugg one can admire the neighbouring peaks while enjoying the Swiss culinary specialties. A real insider tip is the mountain restaurant Stöfli at the top of trail 21. The daily specials are normally less expensive and still fill the hungry stomachs. The currency in Switzerland is the Swiss Franc but tourists can also pay with Euros. Other localities where one can stop to take a bite to eat are the Gamsalp at the top of trail 5 or the restaurant at the Selamatt. A typical Après-Ski-Rondell is situated next to the mountain restaurant Iltois right at the exit of the funicular cableway which takes the winter athletes from Unterwasser to the 1350m high mountain station. In the valley one can also find many locations to complete a beautiful day on the slopes.
