Especially striking at the ski resort Turracher Höhe is the great selection of mountain restaurants. 14 après-ski lodges and restaurants see to the wellbeing of the winter athletes. But don't worry, taking a short break in one of these restaurants goes rather easy on the wallet in comparison to great ski-areas for example in Tyrol or Salzburg. However young skiers and skiers that have remained young at heart could be a bit disappointed due to the missing après-ski atmosphere at the Turracher Höhe. There are no après-ski spots or loud discos available there. Moreover there are no larger localities in proximity that could be quickly reached by car. Consequently partying all night long is not really possible at the Turracher Höhe. But if you prefer traditional meals, cosy mountain restaurants and Carinthia`s sun amidst a dazzling mountain scenery the Turracher Höhe is THE place for you.
