Unfortunately the Turracher Höhe ski resort does not cater to experts as well as to families and beginners. Only the descent number 35 is marked as difficult (black label). If you have a look at the trail map you can see that descent number 35 is simply the last steep part of the intermediate level slopes number 21 and number 34. But if you don´t mind skiing intermediate level terrain you can choose between several nice slopes. Our tip: The entire western side of the ski resort as well as the slopes next to the Turrachbahn lift facility are rather challenging. Furthermore the Turracher Höhe, due to its altitude between 1400 and 2205 m above the sea level, provides experts with huge amounts of natural snow until April. The most beautiful slopes for experts will probably be the very long descent “Eisenhut” (number 21) and the FIS-slope (20).
