The ski resort “Turracher Höhe” is situated on a mountain pass which is 1400 meters above sea level. To reach the ski resort from the north we recommend to use the Tauernautobahn (Tauern highway) A10, exit number 104 at St.Michael. Continue on the main roads 96 and 95 via the villages Predlitz and Turrach up to the mountain pass. Another possibility is not to drive up to the pass, but to address the base station of the Turrachbahn lift facility about 3 three kilometres beyond Turrach. From the south the ski resort is most comfortably accessible by using the main roads B98 and B88 and finally the B95. Please keep in mind that the pass is extremely steep, if you want to access the resort from the south (> 25% acclivity). In the case of bad weather conditions you need snow chains to reach the ski resort Turracher Höhe!! And once arrived in the small, idyllic village Turracher Höhe you will find enough parking lots in walking distance to the base stations of the main lift facilities. Hence all main slopes can be accessed very comfortably.
