The Turracher Höhe ski resort is surely no insider tip for snowboarders. Neither fun-park with kickers or rails nor a half-pipe can be found there. Moreover eight out of 12 lift facilities are t-bar lifts. This is a real disadvantage especially for unskilled snowboarders. The rather flat parts, that appear in nearly all slopes could turn into real obstacles for snowboarders. However there is some pretty nice intermediate level terrain and powder descents (especially on the western side of the resort). Due to the huge amounts of fresh snow that occur very often at the Turracher Höhe, powder fans will surely get their moneys worth. The Turracher Höhe is one of the ski resorts that still provide some pristine powder runs!
