In a nutshell: if it's a party you're looking for, Jochtal is not the place for you. Located at the end of the valley, Vals is better at providing vacationers with tranquility than all-night parties. You will, of course, find cold drinks and great South Tyroler culinary specialties at the restaurants in the ski area. Whether it's a rustic atmosphere at Linderalm or a cafeteria-style restaurant, Jochtal has something for everyone. And though you will find a few little bars in Vals, if it's a real party you're hoping for, you'll have to head back to your car and drive out to Mühlbach or Brixen, where you'll be able to dance it up at a disco until the wee hours of the morning.
