Resort Review Vals Jochtal - Families
Jochtal is a true-blue family ski resort!

Kids are very welcome at Vals and Jochtal, and you won't have to go very far into the ski area to realize it. The three tows, Tasa (no.306), Schwandt (no.307) and Schilling (no.308) form the outer boundaries of an enormous practice area at the base, and a kids' park complete with magic carpet lift and obstacle course await the little ones across from the base terminal of the Jochtal gondola. Just please don't attempt to take them along with you on the black runs back to the base. Parts of those runs are extremely steep and should really be left to expert skiers and boarders. We strongly recommend taking the gondola with them instead, in order to get back to the base. The red and blue trails higher up the mountain, on the other hand, shouldn't be a problem if your kids already have some experience on their skis. Jochtal receives a respectable score of 4 stars in the Families' category.
