A first glance at the trail map reveals: beginners will have a hard time at the resort „Vals“. Right next to the mountain station of the gondola going from „Valé“ to „Gadastatt“ you can find a small practice area with a short baby-lift. Above 1810 meters however there is only one slope that falls into the easiest category (Nr. 4). Those who already have a little more experience on skis or board can check out the fairly wide intermediate (red) slope Nr. 9. All other category red slopes are not recommendable to beginners due to their narrowness. Apart from the aforementioned facts, the t-bar-lifts will probably give beginners a hard time.
