The ski resort „Vals“ is not only snow safe but also offers pros 4 very challenging (black) descents. From the „Dachberghütte“ you can overcome some 1200 meters in altitude over some really demanding slopes. With enough snow on the ground and the avalanche risk low there will be some really nice off-piste rides waiting for you. Although they are not very steep they do not lack in the fun department. What’s missing is a chronometer and a bump run. For a day-trip however we can definitely recommend the resort to expert riders. All in all the ski area „Vals“ receives 3,5 out of 5 stars in this category.
