Resort Review Vals - Intermediate Skiers
High proportion of intermediate runs!

Due to the height of 1810 m – 2941 m at which the resort is located „Vals“ offers nicely groomed slopes far into springtime. Noteworthy is the fact that atheltic skiers have the chance of taking a non-stop, demanding descent from the highest point of the resort (2941m) down to the valley overcoming 1600 meters in altitude. Nice carving ground is slope Nr. 9, which unlike the rest of the intermediate slopes, has a comfortable width. Most black runs should also be manageable for intermediate skiers. Only negative aspect are the ski lift facilities: with the gondola as exception all other lifts at the resort are t-bars. Another inconvenience you’ll be confronted with is the fact that you have to take a short walk up hill when you want to switch ski lifts at „Gadastatt“ and at the „Dachberghütte“.
