In order to spend a fun day on the snow in "Vals" you need to be past the novice level and have basic boarding skills. Apart from the many off-piste options you’re mostly offered demanding runs at this resort. A downer are the many t-bar lifts which can give less experienced riders a bit of a hard time. The fact that the board has to be taken off just before the ski lift entrances at „Gadastatt“ and at the „Dachberghütte“ might also cause some annoyance. We unfortunately can't say anything about the qualitiy of the fun parks marked on the trail map as they were not shaped during our test. Nature however has taken care of this: Freestylers can enjoy themselves on one of the numerous „natural“ kickers.
