The terrain around the Grand Moucherolle (2156m) caters perfectly to the needs of novices in downhill skiing. An excellent example is the “Domaine Débutants”, a separate area just for beginners. There they can practice their first swings undisturbed before moving on to the terrain in the ski resort. But not only with the beginners area were the novices though of, 12 easy and very easy trails await to be conquered by the inexperienced skiers in Villard de Lans! Connecting paths and very easy trails in France are marked with the colour green. Especially recommendable are the slopes Perdrix Blanche and Salamadre witch really impress due to their length.
