In Villard the expert skiers will find a lot to their satisfaction. A lot, but not every thing. A permanent racing circuit is missing, something many experts are fond of. But those who love moguls and pristine powder slopes (only when snow conditions allow) will be more than satisfied. In Villard de Lans at the foot of the Grande Moucherolle (2285m) some slopes are left ungroomed so with time moguls of difficult and intermediate levels develop. For example the intermediate (red) trail Loup and the difficult trail (black) Gd Couloir. Furthermore there are slopes, for example the Rhodo which are difficult to master even though they are groomed.
