Ski experience in idyllic surroundings

The ski resort “Villard de Lans“ is situated 35 km south-west of Grenoble and is most easily accessible via the A480 (but highway toll is pricy in France). At the connection Seyssinet-Pariset one should change to the D 531 ( Route du Verours / Route de Villard) and follow the signs to Villard de Lans. For those coming from the south or south-west it is most recommendable to also travel on the D 531 to get to the bases Les Balcon, Clos or Clos de la Balme really fast. Sufficient parking places in short walking distance to the cash offices can be found at both bases. At first sight the ski resort might not seem very big but once one leaves the gondola one can enjoy the beautiful view of this ski resort with its 29 trails. Especially beginners and intermediate skiers can look forward to a great day on the slopes in Villard de Lans.
