The slopes around Wagrain are ideal for beginners. It is recommended to stick to the runs around “Grießenkareck”, as all four practice lifts are located there. Noteworthy is the Children’s area next to the “Edelweißalm” directly at the middle station of the red 8 passenger gondola. Furthermore the novice will find a direct connection to the beginner mecca “Flachau” from here. The “Snow Space Flachau” slopes offer ideal transfer possibilities to more challenging runs (for more information check out our test report “Flachau”). Thanks to its ten blue descents “Wagrain” offers an inexperienced skier a diversified day on the slopes as well. Altogether 4 stars in this category.
