The ski lift facilities at the “Walmendingerhorn” offer direct connections to numerous other lifts located between “Mittelberg” and “Hirschegg”. Most slopes there are of easy level and comfortably accessible via chair lift or t-bar lift. Almost all runs in this area are suitable learning and practicing grounds. However, the beginner friendly areas are located in the lower regions of the resort thus they are not as snow-sure as the main area of the resort, which is situated further up. Inexperienced skiers better stay away from the descents down from the summit of the “Walmendingerhorn” As the intermediate level slopes at the "Walmendingerhorn" are simply too demanding and require at least some experience on ski or board. The run winding down to the base even has sections that are marked very difficult (black). Beginners are therefore better off taking the lift back down to the valley.
