A first glance at the trail map of the “Walmendingerhorn” resort immediately reveals that riders, who love groomed slopes, will only find a minor choice of options with as little as 12 kilometers of skiable groomed terrain. As the resort also lacks a fun park, it can’t really be recommended to riders who want to get their fill of airtime. Off-piste-powder fans and freeriders, however, will definitely spend some fun filled moments at the resort. The 4-passenger chair lift “Muttelberg” II (see trail map) will take you to only partly groomed runs ( Nr. 3a/3b). At the counter slope, the “Unspitze” (1936 m), you will even find pristine powder runs, which will take you back to the base station of the 4-passenger chair lift.
