In comparison to the most famous skiing destinations in Austria like Lech, St.Anton or Ischgl Warth is a pretty small and unknown ski resort. Nevertheless Warth can easily compete with these famous destinations especially where the expert category is concerned. Especially the slopes “Graueggen” (9) and “Salober” (1) (please check the trail map) leave nothing to be desired for very skilled skiers. Next to the mogul slope (3) and the carving racing piste at the “Wartherhornexpress”, especially the ungroomed powder slopes attract many free riders. Moreover the speed measure trail at the “Kuchelbahn” lift (next to slope 10) is worth a try. An absolute highlight are the skiing routes (ungroomed but avalanche-safe) with a total length of 10.5 kilometres. Professional skiers can carve through the powder far away from the crowded groomed slopes. Around “Jägeralp-Express” lift you can find the most demanding descents of the ski resort at Warth and Schröcken. “Große Mulde” (great basin) and “Walserstutz” are examples. To draw a conclusion Warth Schröcken gets the fantastic grade of 5 stars in the expert skiers category.
