In addition to the huge amount of challenging slopes and the beautiful nature around the Arlberg, Warth Schröcken truly is a high-tech ski resort: Chair lifts with heated seat cushions such as “Saloberjet” and “Sonnenjet” provide a high level of comfort even in cases of bad weather. More than one third of the slopes are categorized as demanding but not too difficult (marked red). Hence also skilled skiers will have a great skiing experience in Warth Schröcken. Along with slopes 20 till 23 (please have a look at the trail map) leading down to Warth and the two descends 8 and 9 from the “Saloberkopf” that rises up to 2050 metres above sea level, are very suitable for advanced skiers.
A very long descent of 5 kilometres leads down to the village of Schröcken. Unfortunately you have to take the bus when you are in Schröcken to get back to the rest of the ski resort. Nevertheless it’s really worth staying in Warth a few days if you like demanding slopes and free ride descents. 4 stars out of 5 for intermediate skiers.
