The glacier between Matterhorn (4478) and the Kleinen (little) Matterhorn (3883m) is home to one long easy slope, the Gandegg-trail (73). Predominant at the Matterhorn-Glacier-Paradise are however intermediate level trails. Those disposing of some skiing experience should be able to master the intermediate level trails around the Little Matterhorn. But in order to spend a nice and satisfying day on the slopes on nearly 4000m above sea level it is essential to dispose of an athletic constitution and basic knowledge of skiing or boarding. At the Trockener Steg station skiers and boarders can rest their weary feet and give themselves over to après ski.
