There is no other glacier providing a trail of more than 2km of length without demanding the use of a ski-lift. Six red (intermediate level) trails, some of astonishing length, make the Matterhorn a superlative also during summer. No other glacier ski resort is home to such beautiful and challenging slopes even during low season. Only Sölden in Austria provides the winter sports tourists with a comparable offer of trails. The absolutely unique mountain scenery surrounding the most striking mountain in the Alps, the Matterhorn, makes this skiing experience a perfect one.
