The „Gravity Park“ located at the „Furggsattel“ (keep in mind: druring the summer the park is located further up hill at the „Plateau Rosa“) offers unequalled opportunities. Huge kickers, rails and even a boardercross are masterfully shaped up there. Only thing missing, at least on the test-day, was a half pipe. Even more impressing than the terrain park are the innumerable off-piste-descents all around the 4478 meters high „Matterhorn“. If you can afford the adventure of a lifetime, check out the service of „Zermatt Air“ and let them take you to the greatest powder runs up there. For those who can’t afford the heli, the resort area „Rothorn Paradise“ and the area around the „Stockhorn“ (3405 m) offers many different varying tours. Snowoarders who prefer groomed terrain riding will find 313 kilometers of slopes of all skill levels. Only downer: Runs at the „Theodul“ glacier excluded, most descents are extremely narrow, so that snowboarders and skiers have to be considerate of each other.
