A pleasure for novices in down hill skiing

Valuation Beginners:
Zillertal Arena: Valuation

The Zillertal Arena offers newcomers in snow-sports numerous slopes and ski-lifts to improve their skills. With 16 trails in the easy category blue, novices will surely find pleasure learning (in our opinion) the nicest of all winter sports. Recommendable are especially the Plattenanger-lifts and trail # 6 next to the Kreuzwiesen-lift in Zell. Also trail # 2 and # 3 in Gerlos as well as the easy slopes around the Plattenkogel are ideal terrain for total novices. Those feeling more confident on skis should me able to master also intermediate level trails (red) as for instance trails # 3, # 4 and # 8. However the transfer from Gerlos to Königsleiten is only possible via a very difficult run (black) which should be discouraging. Due to that small downer, Zillertal Arena narrowly misses our top mark of 5 stars.
