Great Mountains, great Lake!

This is Alpine Meadows: Great snow combined with breathtaking views of famous Lake Tahoe and the High Sierra. With about 971 skiable hectares it provides days and days of happiness even for the most ambitious skier or snowboarder. Alpine Meadows is always eager to be up to date. They were the first in the west with a six-passenger high speed chair and completly updated their terrain park in 2009/2010. It offers different parks for beginners as well as for advanced riders. Show your skills in the Goal Post Tree QP, in the spine tube or try some jumps.
Besides the usual ski schools Alpine Meadows also offers ski and snowboard lessons that are especially designed for women. As another specialty Alpine Meadows has an adaptive ski school for disabled skiers and boarders. Here they can improve not only their self esteem but also their balance, coordination and strenght. However, fun always comes first.
