The Ski Resort
Situated close by the commune of Arette situated in the Pyrénées-Atlantiques department, lies, partly covered by mugo pines, the skiing area of La-Pierre-St-Martin.
Cozy Chalets and a welcoming atmosphere serve to make your family holiday a unique one. There are a number of facilities offering childcare: the „les Oursons“ day care, a snow kindergarten, the mini-club and many other workshops and activities will keep your children busy and active.
Other activities you might want to try include snowshoeing, dog sledge or Ski Joëring, a sport where the skiier is being pulled by a horse.
Additionally the Resort of La-Pierre-St-Martin welcomes disabled people to experience the world of wintersports - the association “La Pierre Handiski Pyrénées” provides all equipment, facilities, service and teaching needed to enable people of all types of handicaps to enjoy their winterholiday.
